•  What are two dispositional areas do you feel very comfortable with and why?

I feel very comfortable with Tact and Judgement as well as commitment to the profession.  For tact and judgment, I feel like I am a very open-minded person and always remind myself that students are individual people with their own personalities and ways of learning. I would consider myself a sensitive person so I find it easy to be sensitive to students' feelings. For commitment to the profession, I am very passionate about being a teacher and the different ways people learn has been an interest of mine for a while. I often find myself thinking about ways to be a better educator.
       

• What is one dispositional area you want to focus on during your student teaching semester? 

During my student teaching semester, I want to focus on the cultural responsiveness aspect of the dispositional areas. I feel confident in my progress so far, but things are always changing and there are so many ways to be a culturally responsive teacher that I still want to learn and implement in my future  classroom
      

• Any other thoughts about Professional Dispositions related to you being a successful educator

The professional dispositions showed me that I am on my way to becoming a successful art educator but there is still so much for me to learn as I continue my education.
