I am starting to get used to responding to a complex environment. Every day looks a little bit different in the art room. People are moving around and talking and sometimes machines or tools are noisy. I even got to join the class on a field trip to CSU which was such a cool learning experience. I have been very happy with my progress in transitioning from a student into a professional leader. There's a delicate balance between being fun and relaxed but also having boundaries and expectations for your students.

Reasoning Statement: My mid-semester reflection shows my self-reflection on my progress as a teacher as well as specific ways where I can improve.

Reasoning Statement: I believe that showing up for students outside of school for things like plays, prom, sports games, etc shows students that teaching isn't just a way to get paid but that you really care about the students lives.
